Kattakada: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances near her rented house Muthiyavila here on Thursday. Meanwhile, her husband has gone missing.

The deceased was identified as Maya Murali, a native of Peroorkada. 

A police team led by Kattakkada DySP inspected the spot soon after getting information about the incident. They suspect it to be a murder. The probe is on in the incident.

Maya was found dead near the rented house where she stayed with her husband Ranjith. 

Meanwhile, Ranjith, an auto driver by profession, remained incommunicado.
