Thalassery: A woman in an inebriated condition created ruckus on the road and ended up beating a female SI. She was arrested by the police. The miscreant was identified as Raseena (30), a native of Kooli Bazar. Raseena attacked police officer Deepthi while she was being taken for a medical examination. The incident happened last night.

Problems started when the car driven by Raseena started bumping into other vehicles on the road. Miffed over the incident, locals stopped her vehicle and started questioning her. However, the woman reacted violently and tried to physically assault the people gathered around her, she verbally abused them as well. Soon, police arrived at the spot and took her into custody. She attacked the cop while she was being taken to Thalassery general hospital for a medical examination. Raseena was later presented at the court and sent to remand.

Raseena had been taken into police custody for creating ruckus on road in inebriated condition earlier as well. Two people were injured after being hit by the car driven by her in the previous incident in Panthakkal. Back then, Panthakkal police had to work hard to take Raseena into custody.
