Kochi: Following his interrogation in the cheating case linked to fake antique dealer Monson Mavunkal, K Sudhakaran,  Congress leader, has expressed his readiness to resign from the position of KPCC President.

"I didn't do anything that is detrimental to the party. If necessary, I would step aside as KPCC president. Discussions are ongoing on the matter," said Sudhakaran.  

Meanwhile, he remarked that he has total belief in the judiciary and expressed his innocence in the case.

Sudhakaran commented that the party has not called any meeting to discuss his resignation and will deal with the ongoing probe.
