Kannur: E.P. Jayarajan, recently removed from his position as LDF convener, remains silent on the party's decision, focusing instead on writing an autobiography that will include all controversies from his personal life. Jayarajan has stated that he will address the party’s actions and other issues when the time is right, indicating he is not yet ready to comment. Despite media attempts to reach him, he has refused to meet reporters and has only mentioned that his autobiography will cover his entire life including controversial interactions with BJP leader Prakash Javadekar.
Jayarajan, once a prominent figure in the CPM, has faced disapproval from Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and others due to recent controversies. His close associates report that he is deeply upset by the party’s actions. The leadership is concerned that Jayarajan’s open account could cause significant upheaval in Kerala politics, and they believe he is unlikely to publicly criticise the party.
Complaints about Jayarajan’s asset accumulation and other issues, which were raised over a year ago, are yet to be addressed by the party. There have been delays in investigating other complaints related to dealings with a resort, which suggests that any further action against Jayarajan will be considered only after these issues are resolved.
