Thiruvananthapuram: Dubbing artiste Bhagyalakshmi stated that she will happily go to jail if she is arrested in connection with the attack on Vijay P Nair for derogatory comments made about women. The dubbing artiste said she is ready to be a martyr for the women in Kerala. Thampanoor police had filed case against all the women who attacked Vijay P Nair, including Bhagyalakshmi.

She said that the videos uploaded by Vijay P Nair has been circulating on social media for a while and that no one including the police officers decided to act against him. They decided to react for the sake of women in Kerala.

Bhagyalakshmi also hit out against Santhivila Dinesh for naming her in one of his videos. There will be many more Bhagyalakshmis in the future if nothing is done against these sort of acts against women, she said.

The dramatic incident took place in Thiruvananthapuram the other day. Bhagyalakshmi, activist Diya Sana and Sreelakshmi Arackal poured charcoal oil over Vijay P Nair and made him apologise for the derogatory comments.
