Munnar: A wild tusker created ruckus on Munnar-Mattupetty road, for over an hour on Friday. Videos of the incident have surfaced on social media. The angry elephant could be seen scaring people on the road. It chased away a couple of vehicles also, creating panic.

After wreaking havoc in the region, the wild elephant then moved to Mattupetty boat landing area and laid siege to the main road there. The animal returned to the forests an hour later. People identified the tusker as ‘Hose Komban’.
