The victim, identified as Suman, was allegedly beaten to death by a group of men near a bar in Mukkolla, while bystanders looked on

Thiruvananthapuram: Actress Anushree has strongly condemned the brutal killing of a youth in Vizhinjam, expressing outrage over what she described as a breakdown of law and order in Kerala. She shared her reaction via an Instagram story after watching a video of the incident.
“I just saw the video of the Vizhinjam incident. What on earth is happening here? Those who commit such acts appear to believe that even if they assault or kill someone, there will be no consequences. That is why such violence is becoming so casual. Then what is the point of having laws? What laws exist, and who are they for? It is a disgrace. These rowdy acts, carried out under the influence of alcohol and cannabis — is this ‘God’s Own Country’?” she wrote.
The victim, identified as Suman, was allegedly beaten to death by a group of men near a bar in Mukkolla, while bystanders looked on. Shockingly, some witnesses recorded the assault on their mobile phones instead of intervening. Police have since arrested two brothers, Achu and Ananthu, in connection with the incident.
