Kozhikode: Raids were conducted by the Kozhikode vigilance cell at the house and office of Sathyanarayanan, a clerk in the land acquisition department of the Calicut International Airport.

A team led by DySP Ramesh Kumar conducted raids at the clerk’s house in Kizhisseri in Kondotty and his departmental office at the airport. The raids happened as per the order issued by vigilance cell SP K P Abdul Razak. 

The raids which began on Thursday morning continued till late night. A probe was launched against Sathyanarayanan for allegedly amassing disproportionate wealth. The vigilance officials retrieved several documents during the raids. They will be thoroughly verified. Inspectors Sajeev, Ganeshan and Rajesh were also part of the team that conducted the raids.
