Kochi: The engine of Venad Express got separated from rest of the compartments while it was running. However, there was no casualties or damage as the train was moving at a really slow speed. The incident happened on Sunday at 10.45 am near Ernakulam North Railway station.
The mishap occured after the train engine was changed near Ernakulam South station during its journey from Thiruvananthapuram to Shoranur. The train resumed service after railway employees re-joined the engine and the train compartment.
