Venjarammoodu: A Caravan carrying Mata Amritanandamayi met with an accident at the Venjarammoodu-Thycaud Junction. The vehicle carrying ‘Amma’ collided with a pilot vehicle. The incident took place on Saturday night around 8 PM during Amritanandamayi’s journey from Ernakulam to Kanyakumari.

The caravan collided with the pilot vehicle going in front causing the front glass of the caravan to shatter. The vehicle was not able to continue its journey and halted on the road. However, Mata Amritanandamayi continued her journey in another accompanying vehicle.

As a result of the accident, traffic was disrupted for around half an hour.
