Kasaragod: Three people died on the spot after an ambulance crashed into a car in Manjeshwar. The deceased have been identified as Sreenath and Sharath Menon, both hailing from Guruvayoor, along with another inmate of the car. The ambulance, en route from Kasaragod to Mangalore, collided with the car.

The car was completely destroyed in the impact of the crash. The inmates of the ambulance—Usha, Shivadas and the driver—sustained injuries and were taken to a private hospital in Mangalore for medical attention.
