Thiruvananthapuram: Traffic restrictions will be in place across Thiruvananthapuram city from 8 am to 1 pm on Thursday in connection with President Droupadi Murmu’s visit.

Parking will be prohibited on both sides of the Kowdiar–Palayam–Ashan Square–Chacka–Domestic Airport road. Restrictions will also apply along the Vellayambalam–Thampanoor–Choorakattupalayam–Thakaraparambu flyover–Eanchakkal –Kallummoodu–Ponnara Bridge–Shanghumukham route, and the Vellayambalam–Kowdiar–Kuravankonam–Pattom–Kesavadasapuram–Ulloor–Aakkulam–Kuzhivila–Mukkolakkal–Attinkuzhi–Kazhakoottam–Vettu Road junction.

Travellers heading to the domestic airport are advised to take the Venpalavattom–Chacka Flyover–Eanchakkal–Kallummoodu–Ponnara Bridge–Valiyathura route. Those bound for the international terminal should use the Venpalavattom–Chacka Flyover–Eanchakkal–Kallummoodu–Ananthapuri Hospital service road route.
