Malappuram: The representatives of the Temple Tantri visited Muslim League State President Panakkad Sayyid Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal on Uthradam Day  and exchanged Onakodi and greetings. The representatives of Mutthuvallur Sree Durga Bhagavathi Temple, led by Tantri Tekkiniyedath Tarannanallur Padmanabhan Unni Namboothiri, reached Panakkad on Monday and exchanged Onam greetings and gifts.

The representatives of the Tantri gave Sadiq Ali Onakodi, Palada Pradhaman, Unniappam and banana chips dipped in jaggery (chakaravaratti). They also demonstrated their commitment to promote harmony and brotherhood among different communities.

Sadiq Ali had actively participated in the events related to the renovation of the Mutthuvallur Durga Bhagavathi Temple earlier.

Sadiq Ali said that the Onam celebration of unity and friendship is very relevant in the present times. In a time that encourages division, the message of unity is something to be shared with everyone. He extended his Onam greetings to all.
