Kochi: Police carried out a raid at Infected tattoo studio in Cheranalloor here over the sexual assault case. It is learnt that the officials recovered a computer, hard disk and CCTV footage from the tattoo studio.

The police conducted the raid after some women complained that they were sexually assaulted by the artist in the tattoo studio.

Sujeesh, the studio owner and a tattoo artist, is suspected to be absconding after the incident unfolded through an Instagram post. Police have received information that he had moved to Bengaluru. 

Several women have lodged sexual harassment complaints against Sujeesh. The women filed the complaint with the Kochi Deputy Commissioner's office.

Earlier, the tattoo studio was shut down by police after it was revealed that the establishment was functioning without proper licenses and other documents.
