
Thiruvananthapuram: Test results of 16 persons who returned to Kerala from Nizamuddin after attending the Tablighi Jamaat have come out negative. More test results are expected to come out on Sunday.
The test results of 9 from Thiruvananthapuram, 2 from Pathanamthitta and 5 out of the 15 who returned to Kozhikode after the Tablighi Jamaat have come out negative.
Meanwhile, the test results of 152 others from Pothencode and 90 others from Pathanamthitta have also come out negative. The health department believes that social spreading has not taken place. Test results of 95 more persons from Pathanamthitta are awaited.
Result of the first rapid test held in Thiruvananthapuram will be available on Sunday.
A total of 199 persons had returned to Kerala after the Tablighi Jamaat in Nizamuddin. Out of them, six persons were tested positive for COVID-19.
