Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has revoked the suspension of IAS officers B Ashok and N Prasanth. Prasanth has been under suspension for the past two years, while Ashok’s suspension has lasted for around one and a half months.
Prasanth was suspended for using social media to criticise the Chief Secretary, Dr A Jayathilak. Ashok’s suspension followed an interview in which he criticised Pinarayi Vijayan and the functioning of the previous government.

While postings for the officers are expected to be announced imminently, the move has been dubbed an essential recalibration of state-bureaucracy relations under the new leadership.
