Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has invited the public to suggest a brand name and logo for a new brandy proposed to be manufactured at the state-run Malabar Distilleries Limited in Menonpara, Palakkad.
The initiative is open to the public for the Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) brandy that the government plans to manufacture through the distillery.
How to submit entries
Participants can send their suggested brand name and logo to malabardistilleries@gmail.com. The last date for submitting entries is January 7, 2026.

The Chairperson and Managing Director announced that those whose name and logo are selected will receive a cash prize of Rs 10,000 each, to be awarded during the inauguration ceremony.
