Thiruvananthapuram: The Mangaluru–Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express(20631/20632) will operate with 20 coaches starting Tuesday, railway officials said.

Until now, the train had 14 AC chair cars and two AC executive chair cars, totalling 18 coaches.

From Tuesday, it will have 18 AC chair cars and two executive chair cars, adding 312 seats for passengers.

The Kasaragod–Thiruvananthapuram Central Vande Bharat has been operating with 20 coaches since January. With the change, both Vande Bharat trains in Kerala will now have 20 coaches.
