Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Electricity Board has informed that applications can be submitted online for the Soura solar project where solar panels are installed on rooftop of houses to generate power. The project is implemented in association with central government.

Applications can be submitted in the official website https://wss.kseb.in/selfservices/sbp

Registration can also be done at section offices in counters. The registration fee is Rs 1000. With GST and flood cess a total of Rs 1190 has to be paid.

The time limit to select the contractor for those who have already applied ends on December 15. The contractors can be selected via customer care portal.
