Kottayam, Kerala: A human skeleton was found on Thursday in a rubber plantation at Puthuppally.
Local residents found the remains under mysterious circumstances in a plot near Don Bosco School. The plantation had reportedly been lying unused for nearly five months.
Residents suspect the skeleton may belong to an elderly man who went missing from the area around three months ago.
Kottayam East Police have begun an investigation to establish the identity of the deceased.
