Kochi: LDF demanded the resignation of Congress legislator MLA Eldhose Kunnapilllil over sexual and physical assault case while his own camp is seen treading with caution.

LDF and DYFI conducted protest march to his office in Perumbavoor. LDF affiliate Kerala Congress(M) faction leader Babu Joseph, who unsuccessfully contested against Eldhose in Assembly Elections, has also demanded the resignation .

On the other hand, Congress apparently maintains that they are studying the matter. However, sources said some Congress leaders are of the opinion that Eldhose has been targeted over personal rivalry of the complainant woman.
