Kuttippuram, Kerala: A tourist bus overturned near Kuttippuram in Malappuram district, leaving several people injured. The condition of an injured child is said to be critical. The accident occurred near the Kuttippuram bridge.

According to initial reports, the bus was carrying a group travelling from Kottakkal to Chamravattom for a wedding engagement ceremony. It is believed that the bus overturned while trying to give way to another vehicle.

The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Kuttippuram and Kottakkal for treatment.
