Palakkad: SDPI activist was hacked to death in Elapully here on Friday.
The incident happened around 1:30 pm. The deceased have been identified as Subair, a native of Kuthiyathodu in Palakkad.
According to police, a gang that arrived in a car attacked Subair, who was returning from mosque after Friday prayers. His father, who was accompanying him, was injured in the accident.
The car of the assailants hit the bike of Subair. They escaped in another car after the murder.
Subair is the area secretary of the Popular Front. He was earlier questioned in the murder of RSS worker Sanjith in Palakkad.
SDPI accused RSS of the murder.
