Thiruvananthapuram: The Save University Campaign Committee has filed a complaint with Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, claiming that Calicut University illegally awarded marks to help an SFI leader pass the exam.
Authorities illegally issued SFI leader Akash six marks to ensure he did not fail the internal examinations of a B.Sc course, says in the complaint. Previously, the university issued a written response to the State Assembly, disclosing that internal marks were issued in contravention of Academic Council regulations.
According to the latest complaint, the Save University Campaign Committee claims that the university was once again involved in illegally offering internal marks to another SFI leader to help him pass the exam.
The Save University Campaign Committee also alleged that the Vice Chancellor, who is responsible for preventing illegal activities, is complicit in fraud.
