Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Sunday thanked Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for choosing Kerala for his Ayurvedic treatment and wished him a speedy recovery and continued good health.

Satheesan was responding to a post by Kalyan, who recently stayed in Kerala for treatment following surgery on his right shoulder.

Satheesan welcomes Kalyan's Kerala visit

In his post on X, Satheesan thanked Kalyan for his kind words about Kerala and said he was pleased to know that the state's people and its temples had given him a sense of peace during his stay.

Satheesan said the Kerala government and people looked forward to welcoming Kalyan to the state again.

Kalyan, in an X post a day earlier, said his stay in Kerala had been a period of healing, peace and memorable experiences.

He thanked the people of Kerala for their warmth, kindness and hospitality, and also expressed gratitude to Satheesan and the state government for the cooperation extended during his stay.

Pawan Kalyan visits Kerala temples

During his stay, Kalyan visited several prominent temples in the state, including Thriprayar Sri Rama Swamy Temple, Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple, Mammiyur Sri Mahadev Temple and Chettikulangara Sree Bhagavathi Amma Temple.

He said the visits gave him an opportunity to experience the state's spiritual traditions and offered him moments of peace and reflection.

The Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister had travelled to Kerala for Ayurvedic treatment for his right shoulder after undergoing rotator cuff surgery in Mumbai.

He described his stay in Kerala as a period of rest and recovery and thanked the state government for its support during the visit.
