TV anchor and journalist Sanal Potty dies at 55 in Kochi after prolonged kidney illness.

Kochi: Television anchor and journalist Sanal Potty died in Kochi on Tuesday. He was 55.
Potty had been receiving treatment for kidney disease for a long period and died at 3:30 am at Manjummel St.Joseph's Hospital, Ernakulam. His kidneys had failed two years ago, and he had suffered a stroke in 2018.
He was widely known for his work as a morning-show anchor and later took up senior editorial and production roles across several television channels. Most recently, he was the public relations manager at SCMS College, Kalamassery.
