Kollam Vigilance Court confirms that the arrest of Sabarimala head priest Kandararu Rajeevaru will be officially recorded in the Dwarapalaka idol gold theft case.
Kollam: The arrest of Sabarimala head priest Kandararu Rajeevaru will also be recorded in the Dwarapalaka idol gold theft case, in addition to his earlier arrest in connection with the alleged conspiracy behind the temple door gold panel theft. The Kollam Vigilance Court pronounced the ruling on Tuesday morning.
The bail plea in the door gold panel theft case is scheduled to be taken up on January 19.
Meanwhile, the court has extended the remand of former Travancore Devaswom Board president A Padmakumar by an additional 14 days. He will be produced before the court again on January 27.
