Thiruvananthapuram: Meesha, a novel by S Hareesh, has won this year’s Vayalar Ramavarma Memorial Literary Award. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a bronze sculpture crafted by Kanayi Kunhiraman.

The jury panel panel headed by Malayalam author Sarah Joseph declared the winner.

Vayalar Rama Varma Memorial Trust informed that award function will be held on Vayalar’s death anniversary on October 27.
