Meppadi: Shocking visuals of the landslide near the Meppadi tunnel road project in Wayanad have emerged, revealing the terrifying moments when the disaster struck.

The footage, captured near Meenakshi Bridge, shows a massive landslide cascading down the hillside, with huge volumes of mud and water surging across the bridge. The CCTV footage, obtained from a shop near the bridge, vividly captures the sheer force and scale of the disaster.

The visuals also show vehicles being swept downhill along with mud and slush, while several people can be seen running for safety. Some appear to have been caught in the torrent and carried away by the rushing debris, highlighting the devastating impact of the landslide.
