Chennai: Renowned artist Achuthan Kudallur passed away. He was 77. He breathed his last on Monday morning at a private hospital in Chennai. He was undergoing treatment for age-related ailments for the past few days.
He was born in 1945 in Kerala. He pursued a degree in Civil Engineering and revelled as an Indian Asian Modern and Contemporary painter.
He is a recipient of the national and Tamil Nadu state Lalit Kala Akademi Awards.
