New Delhi: Activist Rehana Fathima, who was booked for non-bailable offences under Juvenile Justice Act and IT Act, filed an anticipatory bail plea in the Supreme Court on Monday.
Rehana moved SC after the Kerala High Court rejected her anticipatory bail plea. HC had dismissed her plea observing the probe stands the ground of POCSO Act.
She was booked by police after a video was posted by her on social media in which her children were seen painting on her half-naked body. Rehana had posted the video titled `Body and Politics`. Her minor son and daughter can be seen painting on her body as she lies half-naked on the bed. She shared the video on her Facebook feed and her YouTube channel which was circulated widely.
Adv Ranjith Marar filed the anticipatory bail plea for Rehana in the SC.
