Palakkad: Congress MP Ramya Haridas and other leaders reached a hotel for lunch by violating lockdown restrictions here on Sunday. It is alleged that Congress leaders VT Balram, Riyas Mukkoli and Palayam Pradeep also accompanied the MP. The Congress leaders arrived at a hotel in Chandra Nagar for having lunch around 2 pm on Sunday.

Dining at hotels is restricted in places where complete lockdown is imposed. Pointing out this, a person questioned the leaders and captured their visuals. Irked with this, the leaders allegedly manhandled the man. The visuals of the incident are being circulated on social media. 

It is not clear that who captured the visuals.

According to reports, 4 leaders including the MP arrived at the hotel.

Meanwhile, MP Ramya Haridas ruled out the allegations on dining at the hotel. She explained that the visuals were captured when they were waiting for the parcel.
