Palakkad: During the past 4.5 years of LDF government, KSFE has turned a money laundering firm, alleged Oppostion Leader Ramesh Chennithala. Serious discrepancies in chitties were found by Vigilance. Hence the government is hunting them down, he added.

Speaking to media, Chennithala alleged that the government is of the stance that no corruption from them should be unearthed. CPM is behaving as they like and the government has lost responsibility.

“Finance Minister has openly criticised the Home department. Why is CM silent even then?”

It shows the stubborn nature of CPM that the Vigilance should act as their puppets. In order to uphold the reliability of KSFE, a fair probe should be conducted and the guilty punished, he demanded.

Chennithala also alleged that the government likes to probe Opposition MLAs using Vigilance but not KSFE. Vigilance has become a caged bird in the hands of state government.
