Woman dies on train at Ernakulam South; services delayed due to incident.

Ernakulam: A 40-year-old woman was found dead inside a train at Ernakulam South Railway Station on Thursday morning. The deceased, identified as Isaivani, a resident of Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu, was travelling on the Karaikal–Ernakulam Express. Sseveral morning train services were disrupted on the route.
She had been travelling on the train departing Karaikal for Puducherry at 4.30 pm. Fellow passengers found her unconscious inside the coach after the train arrived at Ernakulam.
Railway police immediately rushed Isaivani to the General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police noted that she had a pre-existing heart condition. Preliminary conclusions suggest that a heart attack was the cause of death.
