When the investigation team reached the hideout, the car in which Rahul travelled was found there

Bengaluru: Police have found that MLA Rahul Mamkootathil was in Bagalur, located on the Tamil Nadu–Karnataka border. They received information that Rahul crossed over to Karnataka just moments before the police reached the spot. His anticipatory bail plea will be considered on Wednesday.
Police had earlier learnt that Rahul fled Palakkad in a red Polo car. However, they had not been able to find out where he went. On Monday morning, the police located his hideout in Bagalur near Hosur. A team conducting an investigation in Coimbatore immediately diverted towards Bagalur. But Rahul escaped just before the police arrived there, reportedly moving to Karnataka.
