Karunagappally: Rahul Gandhi, who reached Karunagappally as part of Bharat Jodo Yatra, visited Mata Amritanandamayi at Amritapuri on Friday. Rahul was accorded a warm welcome by the inmates of Amritanandamayi madom at around 8.30 pm. 

Rahul interacted with Amritanandamayi for nearly 45 minutes and returned at 9.30 pm. 

Rahul Gandhi was also accompanied by AICC general secretary KC Venugopal, KPCC president K Sudhakaran, Opposition leader VD Satheesan, Ramesh Chennithala, PC Vishnunadh and CR Mahesh.
