Actress Priyanka Anoop has urged Kerala’s Transport Minister to introduce reserved seats for men on KSRTC buses, calling for equal consideration during a Men’s Day rally.

Actress Priyanka Anoop has voiced her support for calls to introduce reserved seats for men on KSRTC buses. She made the remarks at a rally organised by the All Kerala Men’s Association on International Men’s Day, urging Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar to consider the demand.
“If a woman boards a bus, should a man be made to stand? We will always give way to pregnant women and the elderly out of respect. But men need consideration too. We call him Ganeshettan. When Ganesh Kumar is a minister, he will surely act accordingly. He is a minister who does exactly what he says. To bring these matters to public attention, I will go to any extent. I will always be available for these matters with just a call,” Priyanka said.
“I’m not saying this to go viral. I have never seen a woman stand up for men. There are men in my family as well. Whenever there is a problem, men are singled out, and it is said that only men are at fault. Whoever did wrong should be punished. But many innocent people have taken their own lives. Men are suffering, turning to alcohol, and their lives are falling apart. What is feminism? Feminism is nothing. Women and men have equal rights,” she added.
