Kochi: Pattarakath Nasser (52), the prime accused in the Tanur boat tragedy which claimed 22 lives, has been granted bail by the Kerala High Court, along with three other accused in the case.

The other accused in the case who were granted bail include Shyam Kumar (34) - the seventh accused who had distributed tickets for the fatal ride, Bilal (34) - the eighth accused who invited people into the boat, and Savad (42) - the ninth accused who was an employee in the boat, Atlantic.

A bench headed by justice AA Ziyad Rahman granted bail to the accused. The Tanur boat mishap happened on May 7.
