Palakkad: It was a moment of joy and celebration for the teachers of Chinmaya Vidyalaya School, Pallavur, to know that the all-rounder of their school, Prasanth Nair, is now a part of India's first space flight program.
"No words can explain our happiness," said all the teachers in one voice while talking about Prasanth's recent achievement.
Prasanth studied at Chinmaya Vidyalaya from the 5th grade until the 12th grade. He was the school leader. He was ranked 1st in 10th and 12th grade. His name is recorded on the wall of the school, along with all rank holders' names for scoring high marks in 10th and 12th.
"Prasanth was an all-rounder in studies as well as sports," said retired English teacher Giribala Menon.
"He used to grasp everything quickly. He was a quick learner. He had visited the school once after joining the Air Force," shared chemistry teacher Lalithabhai.
