Police said Sunil’s legs were found tied with wires, and a suicide note along with his Aadhaar card was recovered from the spot.

Panamaram, Wayanad: A man accused in a POCSO case was found dead in a gruesome manner on Tuesday morning, his body charred beyond recognition atop a three-storey under-construction building at Kambalakkad.
The deceased was identified as Sunil Kumar (50), a native of Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram. He was an accused in a POCSO case registered at the Vellamunda Police Station in 2024 and was out on bail.
Police said Sunil’s legs were found tied with wires, and a suicide note along with his Aadhaar card was recovered from the spot. The body was first spotted by workers at the building. Later, the Kambalakkad Police arrived at the spot and launched a probe.
According to investigators, Sunil had reportedly married three times under different identities and had taken up temporary jobs in various locations.
The body was later shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examination.
