Thiruvananthapuram: Copies of the two First Information Reports (FIRs) registered by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau in the CMRL–Exalogic case have surfaced.

In the CMRL-Exalogic case, former chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan is named as the primary accused, whilst former minister P A Mohammed Riyas is named as the primary accused in the money laundering case. Veena T, Pinarayi Vijayan's daughter, wife of Mohammed Riyas, and owner of Exalogic Solutions, is named as an accused in both cases.

The Vigilance FIR charges Pinarayi Vijayan with criminal conspiracy, alleging that he abused his official position as Chief Minister. The FIR in the second case alleges that P A Mohammed Riyas transferred funds abroad and that he and Veena unlawfully amassed wealth. It is further alleged that Riyas used his ministerial status to facilitate hawala operations and accumulate illegal assets.

The Vigilance Bureau registered the cases based on a communication from the Enforcement Directorate (ED), following directions from the High Court. In the CMRL–Exalogic bribery case, Pinarayi Vijayan is the first accused, Veena T is the second accused, and five others are named on the list of accused.

The FIR alleges that Pinarayi Vijayan received ₹3.28 crore after conspiring with Veena and the CMRL company. The FIR incorporates the exact observations from the report submitted by the ED.

In the second case, Mohammed Riyas is the primary accused in an FIR pertaining to the illicit accumulation of funds. The FIR invokes various provisions under the Prevention of Corruption Act alongside charges of criminal conspiracy. Veena is named as the second accused, alongside Shaijal, Nikhil and Nandulal.

The FIR further alleges that funds were illegally transferred abroad to acquire assets during 2024–25. The Vigilance FIR notes that this is substantiated by documents seized by the ED during a search at Veena's residence.
