Medical examinations revealed that Sajinsha had fallen due to sudden illness. Emergency medical care given on time helped him survive the critical condition.

Pottore (Thrissur): It was past 2:30 in the early morning when Special Branch Sub-Inspector P R Sudhakaran woke up to the sound of his phone ringing. The message said someone had fallen from a moving train near Mulankunnathukavu. The exact location wasn’t mentioned — only that the person fell from the Malabar Express travelling from Mangaluru to Thiruvananthapuram.
Sudhakaran rushed straight from his home at Kolazhy, to the railway track near Mulankunnathukavu. He woke up local residents and began a search. They didn’t have to go far — near the Pottore Karthyayani Temple, they found a young man lying unconscious beside the railway track.
The information was passed to 108 ambulance and it arrived. He was immediately taken to the Medical College Hospital. The man was identified as 25-year-old Sajinsha, a native of Perumathura in Kollam — brought back to life by Sudhakaran.
It was at 2:30 am on Wednesday that Sajinsha was thrown off the Malabar Express and fell onto the tracks. Another passenger who witnessed the fall called the police State Control Room.
