
Kasaragod: The accused in the 2019 murder of Youth Congress activists Sarathlal and Kripesh in Periya have applied for parole. The 8th accused, Subeesh, and the 15th accused, Surendran, filed the parole application, citing personal needs. This request comes within a month of the verdict in the case.
The Bekal police station has received a notification regarding the parole application, and a decision will be taken based on the preliminary report from the police.
