Thiruvananthapuram: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman and 2008 Bengaluru blast case accused Abdul Nasser Madani will arrive in Kerala on Thursday.
Earlier, the Supreme Court allowed Madani to stay in Kollam after assessing that the trial proceedings in the case against the veteran PDP leader are nearing completion and that his presence in Bengaluru is not required.

At around 11:40 am, Madani would reach Thiruvananthapuram via a flight from Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. He will head to his residence in Anwarssery via road. Considering his poor health and the state-wide mourning on the death of former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Madani would be escorted from the airport by leaders and close relatives with no welcoming ceremony.
According to reports, Madani will stay with his father before seeking medical attention at a hospital. Because of his poor health, the family and party had restricted others from visiting him for the next few days.
Meanwhile, SC has restricted Madani from leaving Kollam district. However, he can leave the district for medical treatment after informing concerned police officials. Meanwhile, the court has mentioned nothing about the requirement for police to accompany him.
