Kottayam: BJP leader P.C. George, who was arrested in connection with a hate speech case, has said that he will continue with his action plan against anti-national forces that are trying to destroy the country. He made these remarks while speaking to the media after being granted bail in the hate speech case. "I will persist with the actions I have already initiated against those terrorists who are attempting to destroy India, and there will be no compromise on this matter," P.C. George clarified.
A case was registered against P.C. George for making highly provocative and hateful remarks about a particular community during a television channel discussion. Though he was arrested and remanded for 14 days, he was receiving treatment at Kottayam Medical College for health issues. After receiving bail, George was discharged from the hospital and spoke to the media after his release.
The Erattupetta Magistrate Court granted him bail, considering his health condition. After the bail order was sent to Pala Sub Jail, it was then brought to Kottayam Medical College.
