Thiruvananthapuram: Senior journalist P. Sreekumar has been appointed as the Additional Private Secretary to the Governor of Kerala.
A native of Thrikothamangalam in Puthuppally, Kottayam district, Sreekumar brings over three and a half decades of experience in mainstream journalism. In addition to his media career, he remains actively involved in various social and cultural organisations.
This marks his second stint in the role, having previously served as Additional Private Secretary during the tenure of former Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. Over his distinguished career spanning more than 35 years, Sreekumar has held key editorial positions, including News Editor and Online Editor at the Janmabhumi daily newspaper.
