Kanhangad (Kasaragod): Youth League state president Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal visited the residence of Ouf Abdul Rahiman, DYFI worker who was murdered the other day. He condemned the murder and express grief over the demise. He added that Muslim League never encourages political murders. He was addressing the media after visiting his residence.
“If the accused are proved to be members of League, they will never remain in the party. League is aware of the grief of victims. The family’s pain is ours too,” Munavvar Ali said. He also demanded a detailed probe into the case.
Ouf’s relatives and friends had blocked Munavvar Ali and team when they arrived to visit his residence. They surrounded his vehicle Later, the family allowed only Munavvar Ali to enter the house and stopped the local leaders who accompanied him.
