40 people, including doctors at the private hospital have been kept under observation.

Thrissur: Another COVID-19 death has been reported in Kerala with an 87-year-old Engandiyoor native from here succumbing on Sunday. With this, the coronavirus death toll in Kerala rose to 16.

The patient had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital due to breathing difficulties. The patient succumbed on reaching the Thrissur Medical College Hospital.

40 people, including doctors at the private hospital have been kept under observation.
