Thiruvananthapuram: Auto, taxi and light motor workers, led by the Joint Action Committee of Motor Taxi Workers, will go on a 24 -hour-strike on December 30. 

The demands are to upgrade auto taxi fares, remove GPS from older vehicles, extend vehicle demolition law to 20 years, enforcement of permits for e-auto rickshaws among others.

KS Sunil Kumar, action committee convener, informed that an indefinite strike will be organised in January if the demands are not addressed.
