Thiruvananthapuram: A bike was stolen from outside the Vizhinjam police station premises. The bike, which was a mainour, was stolen early morning on Wednesday.
The two-wheeler was parked in the vicinity of the police station building. A young man who reached the station in the morning is said to have pushed the bike out through the main gate. Sources say that this man has been identified.
This bike was abandoned by the perpetrators involved in a gold chain-theft case at a lunch shop the previous day. The bike was then taken into custody. The police suspect that those involved in the chain-theft case must be the ones involved in smuggling the bike out as well.
